Sponsored by Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles (URE).
Participants: Any licensed amateur station.
Dates: CW: 3rd full weekend of May, from 1200 UTC Saturday till 1200 UTC Sunday (May 19-20, 2012).
SSB: 4th full weekend of June, from 1200 UTC Saturday till 1200 UTC Sunday (June 23-24, 2012).
Bands: 10, 15, 20, 40, 80 and 160 meters, according the IARU Region 1 band plan.
CW: 1810-1838, 3500-3560, 7000-7025, 14000-14060, 21000-21080, 28005-28050.
SSB: 1840-2000, 3600-3650, 3700-3800, 7060-7100, 7130-7175, 14125-14300, 21151-21450, 28225-29200.
Classes:
1) SOAB EA - Single Operator All Band EA.
2) SOSB EA - Single Operator Single Band EA. (Only one band will be worked along the contest).
3) SOAB DX - Single Operator All Band DX.
4) SOSB DX -Single Operator Single Band DX. (Only one band will be worked along the contest).
5) MOEA - Multi-Operator EA, only all band.
6) MODX – Multi-Operator DX, only all band.
NOTES:
a) The DX-cluster can be used in all classes but it is not allowed self-spotting.
b) Only one signal at the same time is allowed in all single operator classes.
c) Only one signal per band is allowed in multi-operator class.
Valid contacts: Any station can be contacted during the contest. Every station can be contacted once per band. Unique QSOs will not be valid for points nor multipliers.
ExchangeSpanish stations: RS(T) + Spanish Province letters (see below).
DX stations: RS(T) + QSO number starting with 001.
Multi-operator stations, if used multi TX, shall report separate serials per band starting with 001.
Points:
EA stations:
QSO with EA stations, 2  points.
QSO with DX stations, 1 point.
DX stations:
QSO with DX stations, 1 point.
QSO with EA stations, 3 points.
Multipliers: Each Spanish Province (52) and each EADX100 entity, except EA, EA6, EA8 and EA9, per band.
EADX100 entities are those of DXCC plus GM3-Shetland, JW-Bear, IT-Sicily and 4UVIC-ONU Vienna International Center.
Final score: Total QSO points by total number of multipliers of all bands.
Prizes:
EATrophy will be awarded to the top-scoring entrant in single operator multi-band and to the top-scoring entrant in multi-operator class.
Medal will be awarded to the high scoring entrants in single-band classes, if a minimum of five logs are received for that band.
Certificate will be awarded to stations with a minimum of 150 QSO in multi-band or 50 QSO in single-band classes. For obtaining trophy or medal this same criterion will be applied.
DX: Trophy will be awarded to the top-scoring entrant in single operator multi-band class and to the top-scoring entrant in multi-operator class with at least 150 QSO.
Medal will be awarded to the high scoring entrant in each single-band class with at least 50 QSO, if a minimum of five logs are received for that band.
Certificate will be awarded to the high scoring entrant in each EADX100 country in single operator multi-band class with at least 150 QSO.
Logs: Only logs in Cabrillo format. Paper logs will be not accepted.
Sending: Logs can be sent by e-mail as attached files without compressing them to:

In the "Subject" of the e-mail must be read "King of Spain log from (your callsign)".
Your output file should be named by your callsign (i.e. EA4URE.LOG)
Computer disks must be sent to: URE-Concursos HF, P.O. Box 220, 28080 Madrid, Spain.
Closing date: Logs must be received by:
CW, June 10.
SSB, July 15.
Logs lately received will not be considered.
