What started out to be a small local DX-pedition has developed into a multi National team effort. Our aim...To give as many deserving DX'ers Lesotho on as many bands as possible, in CW SSB and RTTY.

We will be running 3 good stations 24/7 and have some really good operators.

Background to Lesotho

Lesotho (i/lɨˈsuːtuː/ li-SOO-too), officially the Kingdom of Lesotho, is a landlocked country andenclave, completely surrounded by its only neighboring country, the Republic of South Africa. It is just over 30,000 km2 (11,583 sq mi) in size with a population of approximately 2,067,000.[1] Its capital and largest city is Maseru. Lesotho is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. The nameLesotho translates roughly into the land of the people who speak Sesotho.[4] About 40% of the population live below the international poverty line of US $1.25 a day.

LESOTHO DX PEDITION 2012 P O BOX 29169 SUNRIDGE PARK 6008 SOUTH AFRICA To cover cost we request a donation of $3 with your QSL card. Please no IRC as it is difficult to convert at the post office. OQRS system will also be implemented just after the expedition. LOGS WILL BE UPLOADED TO LOTW WITHIN 6 MONTHS AFTER THE EXPEDITION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
