Activation of Amangeldy peak (4010М)

From 7 to 8 June 2013, a group of «Traveling Radio Amateurs Group», planned travel to the mountains of Zailiysky Alatau.

Expedition «Mountains of Kazakhstan» is the first in Kazakhstan activation mountains «Class E» (peaks altitude from 4000m and more) pursuant to the" Kazakhstan Mountain Award" program.

The goal of the expedition - the activation of the following references:
- WMA/UNM-043 - Amangeldy peak, altitude 4010м above sea level (NEW ONE),
- WFF/UNFF-005 - Ile-Alatau national Park,
- WRA/UNR-048 - river Malaya Almatinka,
- KDA: Q-12 - Karasai district.
- WWLoc.: MN83MC

From 9 to 11 may 2013, a «Traveling Radio Amateurs» Group, planned departure to the area of Ketmen (South-East Kazakhstan) to activate the following references:

- UNM-041 - pass Ketmen, height 3114мabove sea level (NEW ONE)

-UNR-082 – river Ketmen, (NEW ONE),
- KDA: Q-16 - Raimbek region.
- WWLoc.: MN83DH
The camp will be located at a height of more than 3000m above sea level.

From 20 to 21 April 2013, «Traveling Radio Amateurs» Group planned to travel to the area of Tian-Shan Astronomical Observatory.
During his expedition group plans to take part in the «International day of astronomy» and activation of the following references:
