A team consisting of HZ1BF, 7Z1CQ, 7Z1SJ, HZ1MD, HZ1BW, HZ1HN, HZ1AR, HZ1DG, HZ1FS and HZ1TL will activate Al-Dhahrah Island AS-190 using the callsign 7Z7AB.

The DXpedition will start on 2012/10/05 until 2012/10/11.


ABOUT AL WAJH
Al Wajh (Arabic: الوجه‎) is a coastal town in northwestern Saudi Arabia, situated on the coast of the Red Sea. The town is located in the Tabuk Province.



Al Wajh is a comparatively small town. Fishing is a primary activity of the town’s residents and the port is the central location where this occurs – the Al Wajh port used to be one of the main shipping centres in the region 50 years ago.





The town is served by the Al Wajh Domestic Airport and has close links with the city of Tabuk, with a road connecting the two locations.





Al Wajh is passage for convoys since ancient times. There are the castles and fortresses hundreds of years ago.





It holds a historic town built by the facial effects of parents and grandparents and grandchildren maintained. Population of the province about 50,000 souls.
