Croatian Telegraphy Club is International Radio Amateur’s Association with free membership (no terms) for telegraphy lovers across the world.
Croatian Telegraphy Club invites you to become a member (at the same time member of the European CW Association - EUCWA), welcomes your membership application (no application form – only name, callsign and wish to become) and if submitted by E-mail membership is free (no cost) because it is Club’s principle of supporting CW which is far more important than any financial consideration. In case your application is by post please include 8 USD or 5 euro cash in envelope which is a contribution towards postal charges including the package of Club’s Certificate of membership .

History & membership
On the 12th December 2001. several active radio amateur old timers, lovers of telegraphy, founded the Croatian Telegraphy Club - CTC.
Club welcomes membership applications from telegraphy lovers from all parts of the world.
The only requirement for prospective members of CTC is that CW should be their main or only mode of operation on the amateur bands.
If membership application is submitted by E-mail, then no fee is required and membership is free (no money - mail us only your name and call sign) .In case application is by post please include 8 USD or 5 euro cash in envelope by airmail, which is a contribution towards postage including the package of Club’s Certificate of membership .
It is the Club's principle of supporting CW and that is far more important than any financial consideration.

Rules of CTC are as follows:
1) CTC is an association with free membership for telegraphy lovers across the world.

3) The aims of CTC are to support and promote CW as an active mode to teach new telegraphy operators
and to increase the numbers of CW operators on the amateur bands.
4) CTC will, from time to time, organise activity periods and contests.
5) CTC will have only a chairman and one secretary.
6) A membership number (one callsign – one membership number) will be issued to every member, which they will be able to quote on QSL cards, letters etc.
7) The Club logo is an image of a hand key with the text "Croatian Telegraphy Club".
8) The CTC can have a stamp like an emblem. A rubber "CTC logo" stamp will be available to members.
9) Although there is no membership fee, voluntary contributions can be made (towards the costs of orga-
nizing activity periods, contests etc)
10) 12th December 2001 is the inauguration date of CTC and on this date each year members can celebrate its“Birthday“ by their activity on the CW section of the radio amateurs bands .

Under or instead of the "Croatian Telegraphy Club" in our common symbol you can write in call sign - CTC # number .
This membership number is valid only for this call sign .
Because our Club is member of the European CW Association EUCWA, CTC members are allowed to use besides our Club's
this EUCWA symbol - (take a look at "Links") either alone (the best) or in combination with your club's symbol or on your QSL cards, whatever and wherever you like.

Government and representation :
- The Association is self-governing. Every three years one member-club having Full membership of the Association shall nominate the "EUCW Chairman". Such clubs shall take it in turn to nominate the Chairman in accordance with the sequence of the following list. When a member-club is unable to nominate a Chairman at the appropriate time the retiring chairman has responsibility to seek.
- Each member-club is represented within the Association by an appointed EUCW Communications Manager (ECM). The CTC ECM is Den - 9A3FO.
- The EUCW is officially represented by the "EUCW Chairman". The term of office of the EUCW Chairman
is 3 years.
- Member-clubs may use the official emblem of the Association.
Communication and Information:
- The official language is English.
- The Chairman shall send an EUCW Bulletin to all ECMs once every 3 months containing news and information of EUCW interest.
- Each ECM is required to keep all other ECMs informed concerning matters of EUCW interest, normally via the Chairman and the EUCW Bulletin, but by direct communication (E-mail) when there is insufficient time to circulate important information by normal means.
- ECMs are responsible for promoting awareness and support of EUCW activities within the membership of
their own clubs and encouraging co-operation between their own clubs and other EUCW member-clubs.
-They are also responsible for publicizing EUCW activities in the national amateur radio magazines in their
own countries.
Membership:
- There is no membership fee.
Purpose:
- The purpose of the Association is: By the co-operation of member-clubs, to create support and encouragement for amateur radio CW activity and to defend such activity when it is threatened in an way.
- Using the Association as a platform-member-clubs may exchange ideas and information, arrange various activities involving mutual participation, and generally co-operate for the benefit of amateur radio CW operation.

General Rules
1. This prestigious award is available to all licensed radio amateurs and shortwave listeners anywhere in the world.
2. Only contacts made on or after 27th April, 1991, (the 200th anniversary of the birth of Samuel F.B.
Morse) are valid for this award.
3. Applicants should submit a list of contacts made (or SWL-stations heard) for which QSL cards have
been received. The list must be certified by a licensed amateur who is a member of an EUCW club,
who should state the name of his/her club and membership number.
4. The list must include date of contact, callsign of station worked or heard; band; name of operator;
QTH; EUCW club; and club membership number.

6. Separate certificates will be issued for each class of award.
7. The fee for the award is EUR 6.-, or US$ 8, or 12 IRCs.

band.
2. The total of 100 stations worked or heard over 3 bands must include at least 3 members of six diffe-
rent EUCW clubs.
3. Up to 40 stations worked or heard on 27th April, 1991, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Samuel
F.B. Morse, will count as double contacts. All other requirements remain unchanged.
Classes of Award

b) QRP award -100 two-way contacts made, with the applicant using not more than 5 watts out power.
